It is the time of the year to reward yourself. By rewarding yourself in the moment, your brain elicits positive emotions, leading to the realization that your efforts result in a positive reward.
For me, I have decided to upgrade my office desktop loudspeakers to the Genelec G3, the "Stereophile's Products of 2022 Budget Component of the Year". I have been using the Genelec 8020(G2), but I always wanted a larger pair of active speakers for the lower octave, a more balance sound, if I may.
